Configure submissions

Use Settings > Submission settings to control capacity, availability, final actions, editing, and unpaid-payment handling.

Example: close registration at a known capacity

  1. Open Settings > Submission settings.
  2. Set Limit submissions to max count to a non-negative whole number. Use 0 for no limit.
  3. Configure the submission schedule when the form should accept responses only at defined times.
  4. Choose the final action: show a thank-you page or redirect to URL. A redirect must be a valid HTTP or HTTPS URL; select the intended target frame.
  5. Enable One submission per IP only when the limitation is justified and you understand its effect on shared networks.
  6. For payment forms, decide whether to discard unpaid submissions. Test success, failure, and cancellation before choosing this policy.
  7. Configure the submission editing policy and expiration period if respondents may edit after submitting.
  8. Preview the full journey, including capacity, schedule, confirmation/redirect, and editing paths.

Expected result

The form accepts the intended number of submissions at the intended time, completes with the right confirmation, and handles editing and unpaid attempts according to a documented policy.
